Our domain guarantee

Your plan includes a branded domain that we register and pay for. Technically that means we are the registrant of record and you license the domain while you subscribe — that’s what keeps it inside the flat price. Here is exactly what that does and does not mean.

You can always take your domain with you

After three paid months, transferring the domain out to your own registrar account is free and unconditional. Before three months, we only pass through our registration cost plus a $20 handling fee. Either way, you ask, you get the transfer code.

Never held over a billing dispute

A disagreement about billing is resolved as a billing question. We will never slow down or refuse a domain transfer to gain leverage in a dispute.

If you cancel, your business name stays yours

If you cancel and don’t take the domain, we let it expire. We commit in writing to never repoint, park, resell, or re-register a domain containing your business name after you leave. Your name is not our inventory.

The fine print, honestly

• WHOIS privacy is on by default; your personal details are not published in the public record.
• We keep an internal register of which customer licenses which domain, as ICANN rules require of registrants.
• If you already own a domain, we connect it instead — you keep your registrar, we never take ownership of it.
